Truba Manunggal's 1Q Loss IDR147.788 Bn

StockWatch (Jakarta) - PT Truba Alam Manunggal Engineering Tbk (TRUB) which is active in mining and power plant construction booked net loss of IDR147.788 billion in the first quarter of 2009 versus net profit of IDR169.356 billion in the same period of 2008.

Truba Alam's financial report filed at the IDX today (Monday 6/7) that net loss was triggered by other expenses that reached IDR170.475 billion versus other revenues that reached IDR81.928 billion, as well as foreign-exchange (forex) loss of IDR159.983 billion and interest expense of IDR19.953 billion.

Revenue was up 42.89% at IDR878.171 billion from IDR614.544 billion but operating revenue increased 27.67% at IDR65.659 billion from IDR51.427 billion, so operating profit stumbled 66.29% at IDR48.356 billion from IDR143.465 billion.
